For a long time, the web was full of personal websites, small communities, blogs, forums, and strange little projects. You could find something interesting simply by following links from one place to another.
The web still has those places. They're just a little harder to find.
Why we're here
The Independent Web is a community for people who enjoy building, exploring, and sharing their own corner of the internet.
That can be a personal website, a blog, an open-source project, a small tool, an experiment, or simply an idea you'd like to share.
You don't need a large audience. You don't need to be an expert. You just need something you're interested in.
What you can do here

This community is still small, and that's part of the idea.
We're not trying to build another giant platform.
